Abstract

|
One case of Lown-Ganong-Levine syndrome is inoma has rarely been reported although the assocaiion with hydatidiform mole is now well recognized, there being over 50 cases in the´ literature. In 1961, Myers reported the first patient with metastatic choriocarcinoma and clinical hyperthyroidism state. Recent work has * suggested that the substance with thyroid´ stimulating activity both in pregnancy and in patients with trophoblastic tumor is in fact human chorionic gonadotropin.. In this report, we describe a patient,.29 years old, who had metastatic choriocarcinoma with hyperthyroidism substantiated by laboratory data as-the rare case in Korea.
